Quantra, QuantInsti EPAT, and CQF are selling longer credential and bootcamp products around Agentic AI. SoloQuant is different: after-work short Python so you stay competitive in the job you already have.
In 2026, quantitative-education providers are not selling “learn Python” as the front door. They are selling Agentic AI — systems that plan, call tools, and run multi-step research workflows — as the reason to enroll.
That is a market fact, not a ranking. Three public catalogues illustrate the pitch. All three are legitimate longer credential or bootcamp products. SoloQuant Academy is a different product: after-work short Python, so employed people stay competitive in the job they already have.
This is not a price comparison. SoloQuant does not offer an Agentic AI trading course.
Quantra — Agentic AI for Trading (January 2026).
QuantInsti’s self-paced platform launched Agentic AI for Trading in January 2026. Quantra’s LinkedIn post on 16 January 2026 described it as AI that can plan, use tools, and work like a team, “from hypothesis to backtest, end to end.” The course page frames a practical foundation for agentic workflows that turn a trading idea into Python scripts for backtesting.

The Executive Programme in Algorithmic Trading (EPAT) is a six-month, instructor-led programme. The next batch start date on the public page is 10 October 2026. Lectures run over weekends. The same page now flags a new lecture series: Agentic AI for Trading, covering large language models in trading workflows and quantitative trading with AI agents. QuantInsti also runs live bootcamp-format programmes (including an AI AlgoTrader Bootcamp) alongside the longer EPAT credential.
CQF — GenAI Agents in Finance as an advanced elective.
The Certificate in Quantitative Finance lists Generative AI Agents in Finance & Beyond among its advanced electives. Delegates select two electives to complete the qualification. The elective is described as a technical look at building, deploying, and optimising AI agents for financial applications — architecture, tools, reasoning, multi-agent collaboration.
None of these pages is a beginner “write your first .py file” sequence. They assume you are buying a specialised identity: algo trader, CQF delegate, agentic-workflow builder.
EPAT, CQF electives, and Quantra’s agentic course exist for people who have already chosen a long credential or a trading-desk skill stack. Weekend live lectures, a six-month programme, a lifelong-learning library of electives — that design is coherent if your calendar and career plan can absorb it.
SoloQuant is not competing with that stack. We do not run a price war against it. We do not claim a matching Agentic AI trading course. We teach short after-work Python lessons so you remain useful in the seat you already occupy: spreadsheets, CSVs, a script you can rerun tomorrow morning.

Agentic workflows still rest on files you can read, change, and run. If you cannot yet write and run a small Python file on your own machine, skip the agentic bootcamp until that foundation is real. Prompting a chatbot to emit code you cannot inspect is not the same skill as keeping a .py file that still runs on Thursday.
A later SoloQuant path, Python data analysis and machine learning, is an outline we are building. It is not a live 39-lesson product. Do not enroll expecting that catalogue to already exist as a finished course. Stay on the Python foundation until that foundation is real.
If the after-work, keep-your-job version is what you need, open Introduction to Python Programming. It currently has 19 published lessons, written to be taken a few evenings a week. Check that course page for the current enrollment window — windows move, and this article will not freeze a date into the title.
Do the first short lesson on an evening you actually have. Agentic catalogues will still be there when you can run the file yourself.
