Install CrewAI, run a one-agent crew or first Flow, keep roles tiny—after-work multi-agent Python without CEF fluff.
CrewAI is an open-source Python framework for multi-agent teams (Crews) and structured Flows. Docs: docs.crewai.com. Site: crewai.com.
After work, start smaller than marketing demos: one agent, one task, one short report—or a Flow that calls a tiny Crew. Learn roles and task specs before orchestration theater.
Python learners who want role-based agents (researcher/writer style) without building graph plumbing from scratch. If class/function basics are shaky, do Intro Python first.

pip install crewai
# follow docs.crewai.com install notes for extras you need

Keep keys out of git.
Use the docs Quick Start: scaffold a Flow and/or run a crew with one agent generating a short report. Resist five-agent “company simulation” templates on night one.
Execute the sample. Read the final report and intermediate steps. Ask: did the agent need tools, or was it pure LLM prose?
Edit the agent goal/backstory to 2–3 sentences. Re-run. Shorter roles are easier to debug after 10pm.
Change the task to: “Summarize three study tips for after-work Python in under 120 words.” No web tools required. If the crew invents browsing, remove tools and re-run.
Multi-agent ideas click faster when the crew is tiny. One evening should leave you able to explain role + task + process—not a fake org chart.
